Winging it
Which is what I have had to do tonight! I seem to be having frequent problems uploading photographs, since Shutterchance had their recent problems. I`m down to a couple of photographs I uploaded just after Christmas, and did not post them. I tried for over an hour this evening, and eventually gave up. This one is from the lovely morning I spent photographing swans at Mudeford Quay. Also, whilst I still get e mail notifications when comments have been posted on my photographs, I no longer get e mail notifications when you have replied to a comment I have left on one of your photographs. Is it just me, are all of you experiencing these problems? (:o)

The glow is lovely.
I've been having tons of technical problems too, so I sympathize. Ditto on no longer receiving emails when folks reply to my comments.
The lighting really accents the various shades of white. What a great way to spend the morning!
I may be having the same problem you are experiencing... or maybe I am not leaving enough comments with other folks.
I had issues two sundays ago, but am allright now. Glad they forced this one out into the open.
It is excellent. PS. have you dropped the support guys a request?
Glorious wet swan wing!
I wonder if they are a bit like New York Buffalo Wings? [grin]
Beautiful transparency of this wing and details !!! Well done !!!
This is like a flower, Roz! Whoever would have thought that could happen!
I don't think I'm having any problems whatsoever with SC. If I am, I'm totally oblivious.
Lovely shot, Roz. The feathers look so delicate and the light is wonderful. Amazing how different the shades of white are.

A really inventive shot - beautiful. I see this was taken at Mudeford. This takes me back to my childhood when I often visited the area with my parents who had relatives living in Bournemouth! Must get back there one day! Mike
Beautiful image, Roz, and Mudeford brings back fond memories of childhood holidays for me too!
What a joy to see a swan picture that isn't the whole swan for a change. This is so soft yet very detailed. Well done.
I have had some problems also including having to keep logging on when the system drops me out and also no e-mails for replies to my comments.

So far I haven't had any problems. However, I've noticed that every site I've visited today has a spam mail on it..including mine!
Anyway this is a very nice picture Roz
A fine shot Roz, i got a comment about viagra from somebody, maybe its swap a picture get a pill.
I haven't had any issues with uploads, but the emails are always sketchy. This is a lovely capture of these feathers! I think the shot might be even stronger with a tighter crop that eliminates all the water and focuses on a few layers on feathers.
Wonderful and delicate composition. I live it Roz!
Just love the texture of these delicate wings, you are so lucky with the light, nice close up, Roz.
Fantastic lighting - and the feathers look so soft! Excellent.
I've been having some serious issues with uploads as well. It's taking forever and then I frequently get an error or just nothing - especially for photos over 4M. The smaller photos are taking a while, but they do go up. I think the emails are still working for me.
Hi Ros,
Problems? Not sure I'm always getting comment notification; uploads OK but I limit my file size by having max. dimension of 1000 pixels. Spam - I see you have some and I've read Bill's comments. I've reported it to Shutterchance so I hope they'll do something about it. Your pic - lovely detail but get rid of the unnecessary rear wing on the left edge, it distracts and spoils the lovely line of the wing.
Have had problems - use the 'contact us' link on the main page, they'll check your site for you.
Love this picture, you know I like swans
If ever you wanted to do something different with a swan, this is it.
Magnificent.
The water droplets on the transparent wings with their many shaded depth.....gorgeous ans so different than most swan shots.
