Fishing boat or carnival float?
Liked the reflections in this one. (:o)

Definitely carnival float. It is way too clean for a fishing boat. I like the shiny water and the colors, but your lake is in imminent danger of draining off to the right.
I am envious of the weather. It's minus 45 degrees celcius where I am...everything is frozen.
nice colors and great reflections too. Love the calmness of the scene...
This is just a very relaxing picture Roz, love the reflection and the calm sea, I would not mind to take the carnival boat, this weekend there will be carnival in Holland, I am not attending though
Roz, in the USA, where college football is a religion, many of the fans in cities with stadiums on the river (like Knoxville, Tennessee, where I lived for 4 years), decorate their boats like this in the teams colors (but with balloons) and boat to the docks near the stadium to celebrate. This fisherman's use of creative coloring of his net floats could well be taken as one of those football fans!
Lovely clear fresh colours - this could almost be summer!
Ingrid
I love the reflections in the water, Roz, and how bright and cheery this is. I'm glad the fishermen have this kind of view for their livelihood, at least some of the time!
Very nice peaceful capture. I like the reflections
Those colours certainly pop out.
What a difference a few days and some sunshine makes. I think these are the same boats as mine here
http://ellie.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Keyhaven_/3/ I do like the beautiful reflections and lovely gentle colours, the net floats add a vibrance to the scene.
Certainly "float" belongs in there, Rosalyn. This is a gorgeous image and remids me of the fun I had many years ago with jigsaw puzzles.
very sharp!
Would be at home at Mardi Gras or Gay Pride
Lol at Martin's expression.
Excellent colours and refelctions, but you have to watch the horizon.
I'm a sucker for boat pictures and this one was made for colour!
Super sharp with lots of interest and colour.
What a happy atmosphere this shot gives Roz
Nice capture and composition too
Lovely capture Rosalyn, the colours are superb
Wow! The incredible clearness and the smoothness of the colors do of this image something that transmits serenity!
This is so serene
Nice subject Roz and well exposed. I like the reflections in the water.
Some shmood points. Horizon looks tilted. If I come back tomorrow the water will have run out! The sand bar cuts through the boats. Find a higher viewpoint. The sky adds nothing - crop it out. Now you'll have a great picture.
Lovely clarity. The reflections in that calm water nearly sparkle right off the page. I'd suggest rotation to level out the horizon, but otherwise a very fine shot.
A happy fish is a tasty fish.
Oh it's good for us to get those nice colors her in our foggy and rainy towns !!! Thanks
Carnival of the sea rosalyn
Love the bright colors and detail in this shot and the reflection in the rippling water is beautiful! Roy
