Experimenting in black and white

Thought I`d put this one up too!

Taken just before his testimonial.  This huge picture was mounted on one side of St. James`s and dwarfs the advertising hoardings.  It was a fantastic sight.   Shearer is, and always will be, my all time footballing hero.  The atmosphere at his testimonial was awesome, and still brings a lump to my throat when I remember it now.  (Sometimes I am such a `girlie` - hence the hint of pink in the photograph! lol!) No need to experiment this guy is black and white through and through. Love the shot
Rosalyn Sears: You`re right, Tracy. Pleased you like the photograph too. (:o)
Even though I'm a yank living over here I have a great distaste for football but that's a very big discussion for another time. Saying that if I ever had to pick out a couple of players that I've admired over the years Alan would most likely come to the top of the list followed very closely by Teddy. Both are consumate professionals and very likeable guys. Love the pink by the way and it's ok to be girlie you know, you are one after all. smile

Rosalyn Sears: I think you are right - love or hate football, you can still appreciate someone who is a true professional in their field, and a deep down passion for his home club. As for being `girlie`, well, it`s quite a while since I was a `girl`, but I`m still a girl on the inside - it`s the outside that betrays my age. lol! (:o)

Your experiment passed go, now your can collect positive comments smile

Great one and the pink is the satmp of approval. I also like the effect of the transparancy of the screen.

Dunno who Shearer is, but if he can bring out throat lumps he must have been quite a guy.
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Louis. (:o) The photograph does not really do justice to the scale of the poster. It truly was huge, and looked down across the city of Newcastle.,,10278,00.html
Great days ahead for the Toon Rosalyn... I feel it in my bones... this will be the year!! smile

Kevin Keegan's black, white and pink army. I love it.
Rosalyn Sears: Just listening to the webcast on my computer, while trying to catch up on Shutterchance. Three nil up! N`Zogbia and two from Martins. Howay the lads! (:o)
