View of the garden
I might have to detatch this bauble from the tree in my garden and take it out with my camera - just to see how it might work in other situations.

Well it makes a good photography subject nonetheless.
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Mary. I wondered how it would look with other views. I also have a clearer mauve glass ball, which I might play with too.
Nice shot. Well done
Rosalyn Sears: Cheers! (:o)
Lovely shot Rosalyn. I would have gone with a slightly narrower aperture, say f/5.6 or f/6.3, just to bring some sharpness to the reflections, but experience will teach you that as you go along. At this focal length, your b/g would still have stayed nicely blurred at the same time. The composition and framing is very good, as is the colour contrast. Very nice photography. Kindest regards, Neil.
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Neil. Again, my idea - camera`s own execution! In fact all the photographs I have queued to the end of the month have been done only with changes to the mode setting. From now on, I will be taking much more time to get to know the workings of my camera and how to utilize the manual settings. I will try the adjustment you suggest above. I am spending a few evening `re-visiting` my camera`s handbook (and my computer to look up some of the technical terms!) (:o)
WOW, amazing shoot, so abstract, your garden in a ball (pocket version?
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Monika. (:o)
beautiful subject, I wouldn't mind it in my garden
I love these sort of photos. Excellent shot. Cheers, Dave
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Dave. I will play with this idea and see where it goes.

Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Chadd. I was quite chuffed with that one, and I`ll continue to play with that idea. xxx

Rosalyn Sears: Thank you! I have two more of these going up later this week. I am going back to the first attempts I posted on here and trying to improve on them. (:o)

Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, Kimberly, for taking the time to look. I am so pleased you like it. (:o)
