Pussy Willow II
I`ve put this one up because I like it against this background. You might be interested to know where I got this background......and hundreds of others, too. I asked one of the local interior design shops what they did with their sample books, when the new fabric ranges came out. To my amazement they told me that they put them in the rubbish bin! They have offered them to local schools, who are not interested, so they end up in a skip somewhere. When I told them that I do quite a lot of indoor photoraphy, they said they would be more than happy to let me have as many as I want. I am finding them very useful. (:o)

It works against the background, but I have to say that I liked the version on the black background better. Still a very nice shot, though.
I have never seen a pussy willow before. thanks.
Hmmmm? I think I like this even better than the first one, Rosalyn....somehow gives more clarity to the pussy willow.
What a fantastic idea, Roz. How creative and clever of you to make a good find/deal like this. I can see how you can put the scraps to good use.
This one almost has a Japanese feel to it. Very nice!
What a great idea. As for the pussy willows, I'm getting tired of the snow and would love to see them start to break out.
Almost like a Japanese painting. Roz.
Beautiful details !!! and contrasts of colours ... Well done !!!
very japanese,im agree with the others.
Lovely pussey willow, spring is around the corner.
You have made a lucky find with the sample books Roz
Very nice Rosalyn. I agree with the others about the japanese feel!
Fantastic idea, amazing what you can get when you ask. Love the red.
I love this one, the 'hairs' are visible and I can almost touch them, the background add some 'oriental' atmosphere to it.
Thats given me a great idea. I will get to the shops this weekend to find out if i can get some. Maybe the red's are too vibrant for this one, they say a bright background for a neutral colour may not be the best choice, hower i do like it, maybe cos it is different but yep, it has got appeal there.
Good detail shot of the Pussy Willow Rosalyn, but personally I find the strong background patterns a bit distracting.
Lovely Ros...but flip it so it goes from left to right and I reckon it will look better.
Pussy willow ... nice name and nice photo
Nice and sharp and great idea about the background!
