From the splendour and luxury of the much more `cat-proof` decorations of home!

I have boxes and boxes of beautiful glass tree decorations which I unfortunately can not use at the moment.  With four curious and downright mischievous Bengal cats in the house just now we have gone for sturdier options this year.

Sorry, but I have not had a moment to look at Shutterchance today, and tomorrow is likely to be no better, but I promise to catch up on comments and replies over the weekend. (:o)

Very nice ceramic decoration, isn't it a lovely feeling as you come across the old and familar ones when unpacking them.
Rosalyn Sears: I love opening the Christmas decorations box, Aussie. It is always so full of memories. (:o)

You always unwrap memories when you decorate your tree. No doubt you feel the same when you see such treasures as
Rosalyn Sears: Absolutely, Tracy! It is like opening a box of all your happy memories. (:o)

Halfway up, or halfway down...that is the question.
You excellent image really highlights that ceramic glaze, Rosalyn.
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, ray - it is pretty robust, and it needs to be because the cats have been taking turns in batting it all week. lol! (:o)

Very sweet. Made us all smile.
Rosalyn Sears: When we used to entertain more, for business etc., I used to be much more sophisticated with my Christmas decorating. In the last couple of years, I have leaned towards things that just make me feel happy. (:o)

Rosalyn Sears: Glad you like it, Chantal. I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and that life is being kind to you. (:o)
This is very cute. I like the way you capture it
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Richard. I seem to have done nothing but indoor photography for nearly two weeks now. Time constraints and weather have been taking their toll. Just thought that offsetting this one would add more interest. (:o)

Being an angel is clearly not everything it is rumored to be. This one looks ready for a vacation.
Rosalyn Sears: lol! It does have a rather world-weary look. (:o)
Love the picture, great little decoration... I know what cats are like!
Rosalyn Sears: I have boxes of the most beautiful and sophisticated decorations, and I do sometimes yearn for a huge, real tree again, sumptuously decorated. But you know what? I quite like the `homeliness` of these sturdier decorations. (:o)

Very cute! smile
Same kind of story in our household! This year we have a small tree on a table so our one year old can not get into it! smile
Rosalyn Sears: Yep, toddlers pose a similar problem. lol! Toddlers are clumsy and curious - cats are curious, too, but mine are also supreme athletes, defiant and very persistent. (:o) Hope you had a fabulous Chritmas - children are an essential ingredient.
