Precious, Rosie. A detail of it might look more interesting then the whole thing. Try and see if you like it.

Rosalyn Sears: Glad you like it. I do have some detailed, close-ups, which I do like, but I found the compositions a little awkward. I will try some more shots, though. (:o)
exquisite!
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, you are very kind. (:o)
Exquisite is right! It reminds me of stuff I've seen out of India but I can't put my finger on it. Wow!
Rosalyn Sears: Glad you like it, Ginnie. Another indoor, rainy day shot. (:o)
That is a real "Frame it Hang it" shot. Exquisite seems to be the word of the night and I will echo it.
Rosalyn Sears: Aw thanks, Michael. So glad you like it. (:o)
Tha'ts simply splendid Rozalyn ! It"s a perfect mono and a perfect likey too !
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you so much, Florence. I am so glad you like it. (:o)
What fantastic detail Roz, it looks so delicate, one touch and it would disappear. Well done
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, Tracy - they are actually, surprisingly stable. (:o)
threadbare souls. beautifully done Ros
Rosalyn Sears: I have no idea what they are, terry. They are something I picked up in my local florists - she does trendy, arty things with them, like filling up square clear glass vases. They are about three to four inches long, and surprisingly robust. So glad you like it. (:o)
Wouaw !!! Beautiful !!! The white on black sounds very good to me ... I put it in my likeys ...
Rosalyn Sears: So happy to know you like it, Ann. (:o)
Excellent contrast and detail, what are the leaves from?
Rosalyn Sears: They are from my florist! lol! Sorry, that is my pre-Christmas spirit (hysteria) setting in. I have no idea what the plant may have been, but they are approx 3 - 4 inches long, and really quite robust. My florist uses them for filling up glass vases, and they look very pretty. (:o)
It actually took my breath away Rosalyn when it appeared on my screen. Stunning!!!!
Rosalyn Sears: My goodness, how delighted I am that they had such an impact on you. These were indoor, rainy day shots, which required very little effort, I have to say. Maybe keeping it simple is the way forwards........sometimes. (:o)
amazing work rosalyn
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you so much, mick, though they hardly constitute work. They are probably the most simple shots I have ever taken. Rainy day, cup of coffee on the side, piece of black card, and a few of these leaves from my friendly florist. Pretty effortless, but I must admit, I did like the results. (:o)
Wow! Like the feathers of the owls you were treating us to a few days back. Wonderful composition too, Rosalyn.
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you, Ray. I am happy you like this photograph. (:o)
exquisite, delicate detail in this shot.
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you Aussie! They are actually a lot less fragile than they look. (:o)
It's just exquisite Rosalyn. Great work
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Richard - so pleased you like this one. (:o)
I like the way you experiment. Really good.
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, attah. It was a rainly day, and I was bored. (:o)
Awesome photo...
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Chantal. Glad you like it. (:o)
Only needs a worm on it !!! LOL
Rosalyn Sears: lol! That would be fun! (:o) So pleased you like the photograph. (:o)
Looks very delicate - excellent.
Rosalyn Sears: Thans, Bernie. Although they are only 3 - 4 inches long, they are pretty robust. (:o)
skeletons laced together...so beautiful
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Kathryn. (:o)
Ethereal. A very good leaf shot!
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, Martin. I liked it without a frame, it seemed to give it more impact. (:o)
Stunning, so delicate, wow well done Roz, sure a likey for me
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks, Astrid - you are very kind. (:o)
Oh Rosalyn this is magnificent.Love the beautiful silver aganist the black background. What lense are you using? Gone to my likyes
Rosalyn Sears: Hi Gale - the lense is the only one I have, and it is a fixture on my camera, but it is a 10X optical zoom SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON Lens. This is simply an advanced point and shoot camera, but my word it has done me proud. (:o)

I loved the one you did of a solo leaf a couple of weeks ago Ros. I like this one too.
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you, Bill. That is good to know. (:o)
stunner Roz. print - hang/sell. mal
Rosalyn Sears: you missed out `get rich/retire`! (;o) Glad you like it.
That's charming!
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, Chris. So pleased you think so. (:o)
It appears to be a fond of some sort but, as with the shots of 15th & 16th, I haven't a clue how you achieve these effects. They are very eye catching and allow the imagination to run wild
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, pops. I am so pleased that these images appeal to you. (:o)
Wow! Gorgeous picture!!
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you for your comment, it is much appreciated. (:o)
Awsome!
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you, Steve. I am so pleased you like it. (:o)

Fantastic. Love the detail and its perfect in BW
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you for your comment, Charles. Much appreciated. (:o)
Really, really gorgeous.
Rosalyn Sears: Thanks Ellie, for your very kind comment. Just me being determined to not let `rain stop play` - I just did a few of these when I was having a coffee break from housework. (:o)
So delicate. Really nice work.
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, so pleased you like it. (:o)
So - do you spend as much time answering comments as shooting?
:> Delightful.
Rosalyn Sears: Pleased you like it!(:o)
As for answering comments.....usual I do this at odd times of the day, either very late at night, or early in the morning (it`s 6.30 am at the moment). Occasionally, if I can`t sleep, I will reply in the middle of the night! It is much more likely to be other things which stop me having time with my camera, like looking after Mum etc.
Rosie - this is great!
Rosalyn Sears: Well thank you, David! I am glad you like it. (:o)
art! art! art! between yourself and kathryn you have now motivated me to be more creative with my photography...and seeing this type of shot is really inspiring! I absolutely love the multi layering of this shot. nice one Ros
Rosalyn Sears: Liam, it is one of the things I love about modern cameras and computer programs - they allow me to feel as though I am being creative, even though I have none of the traditional artistic skills (like being able to draw or paint). (:o)
Wow! Fascinating, Rosalyn! Since you have obtained that so dark bottom? I like much
This is stunning...god bless your talent
This is wonderful. Someone told me how to make skelentons out of leaves but forgotten, I will have to have another look after seeing this excellent image. Congrats.
