Painting the Sky - number 4

Just slipping this one into the sequence.  Taken the previous weekend in my sister`s garden.  Much more ambient light, streetlights etc., and telegraph wires, so the final results were pretty flawed.  I like this one though.  Palm tree, I thought.

Grand finale tomorrow. (:o)

Yes...my first thought was "tall coconut palm", and I even figured out the wire before reading your narrative.
This is a startling image, Rosalyn..great work!
Rosalyn Sears: It`s fun, isn`t it? (:o)

Looks very good given the circumstances. A bit of noise reduction and cloning out the wire would fix it right up.
Rosalyn Sears: It could certainly do with some work......unfortunately, so does my house, so it`s back to the ironing for me. lol! (:o)
This one is exquisite.
Rosalyn Sears: Well I am very pleased you think so. (:o)

Excellently composed.
Rosalyn Sears: In all honesty, I had no choice about the angle, and I cropped it to look like a more thoughtful composition. Just call me George Washington. lol! (:o)
Very nice palm tree indeed.

Ditto the palm tree - that's what I thought the minute I saw it. A pretty amazing firework. It would be easy to get rid of the wire in PS.
Ingrid
Rosalyn Sears: Thank you, Ingrid - I am so glad you like it. I`m afraid my computer was groaning under the strain of Photoshop, and I have removed it for the time being - time to up-grade my ancient (four year old) computer, I think. (:o)
Definitely organic ... but it aint a palm tree. Wonderful hue ... it's almost edible.richard.

Looking at the thumbnail, I thought this was a palm tree. What a nice surprise! Was this shot taken handheld?
Rosalyn Sears: Yes - hand held. (:o)
